Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Prince(Executed In 2015) by Shen Jingdong was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,629.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Shen Jingdong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strength in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 65,947.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Prince(Executed In 2015) von Shen Jingdong wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.629,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Jingdong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strength im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 65.947,49).
