In October 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast, which included the work Hero Series by Shen Jingdong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 8,125.00 (€ 899.91), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Jingdong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strength in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 65,947.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hero Series von Shen Jingdong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 8.125,00 (€ 899,91) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Jingdong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strength im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 65.947,49).
