Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Shen Jingdong for HKD 8,925.00 (€ 1,010.94). This price was achieved in the auction Out of the Box - For the Holiday SeasonHandbags (501-536) Watches (537-562) Jewellery (570-620) Contemporary Art (621-629) Pens (630-689) Automobilia (690-740) at Bonhams in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Jingdong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strength in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 65,947.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shen Jingdong für HKD 8.925,00 (€ 1.010,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Out of the Box - For the Holiday SeasonHandbags (501-536) Watches (537-562) Jewellery (570-620) Contemporary Art (621-629) Pens (630-689) Automobilia (690-740) bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Jingdong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strength im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 65.947,49).
