Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Shang Yanliu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 11,875.00 (€ 1,340.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shang Yanliu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 12,254.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Shang Yanliu kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 11.875,00 (€ 1.340,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shang Yanliu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 12.254,35).
