Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work View Of Justinian’S Tower, Feodosia by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,802.56). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunflowers in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View Of Justinian’S Tower, Feodosia von Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.802,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunflowers im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
