Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Sunflowers by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,046.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunflowers, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunflowers von Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.046,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunflowers beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47) versteigert wurde.
