A top price for Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov - as previously expected
The work Sunflowers by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sunflowers is the most expensive artwork by Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sunflowers von Sergei Ivanovich Lobanov wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
