Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Falling Star of Oh Jang Won by Seong Tae-Jin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,792.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Seong Tae-Jin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,180.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Falling Star of Oh Jang Won von Seong Tae-Jin kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.792,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Seong Tae-Jin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637 beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.180,53) versteigert wurde.
