The work The Letter Unposted by Seong Tae-Jin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,851.39), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Seong Tae-Jin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637 sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,180.53).

Die Arbeit The Letter Unposted von Seong Tae-Jin wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.851,39) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Seong Tae-Jin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637 im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.180,53).
