Auction result well in line with expectations
The work MARS ATTACK by Seong Tae-Jin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,700.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 160,000.00. Other works by Seong Tae-Jin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637 was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,180.53).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.700,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Seong Tae-Jin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit Manjeong-ri 637; & Manjeong-ri 637 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.180,53) versteigert.
