Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included this untitled work by Senaka Senanayake. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,983.22). Admittedly, works by Senaka Senanayake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Acrobats) in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,965.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Senaka Senanayake zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.983,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Senaka Senanayake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Acrobats) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.965,09).
