This artwork by Selim Turan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June 2010. In the Contemporary Art 2 auction, the work Composition sold for EUR 7,013.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Selim Turan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Selim Turan erzielte im Juni 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Composition für EUR 7.013,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Selim Turan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
