In October 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre by Selim Turan. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,040.00 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Selim Turan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Selim Turan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.040,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Selim Turan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
