Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Verte, 1956 by Selim Turan was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 7,380.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Selim Turan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Verte, 1956 von Selim Turan kam im Mai 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.380,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Selim Turan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
