Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Secundino Hernández was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 34,320.00 (€ 39,769.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Secundino Hernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in February 2020 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 144,875.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Secundino Hernández kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 34.320,00 (€ 39.769,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Secundino Hernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Februar 2020 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 144.875,28) versteigert wurde.
