Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sebastiano Ricci could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work The Holy Family changed hands for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,302.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastiano Ricci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time revealing Truth in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,448,000.00 (€ 1,792,093.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sebastiano Ricci konnte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings wechselte die Arbeit The Holy Family für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.302,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sebastiano Ricci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Time revealing Truth im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.448.000,00 (€ 1.792.093,70).
