In April 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters: Part I, which included the work The Interior Of The Sint-Jacobskerk, Antwerp, With Elegant Figures And A Mendicant, A Service Taking Place Beyond by Sebastian Vrancx. The »bidding war« ended at USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,404.95), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastian Vrancx achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 2,339,854.64).

Im April 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters: Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Interior Of The Sint-Jacobskerk, Antwerp, With Elegant Figures And A Mendicant, A Service Taking Place Beyond von Sebastian Vrancx zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.404,95) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sebastian Vrancx erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Seasons im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 2.339.854,64).
