In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work The Four Seasons by Sebastian Vrancx. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,055,600.00 (€ 1,259,109.38), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sebastian Vrancx have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 2,339,854.64) in July 2015 for the work The Four Seasons.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Four Seasons von Sebastian Vrancx zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.055.600,00 (€ 1.259.109,38) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sebastian Vrancx haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 2.339.854,64) im Juli 2015 für die Arbeit The Four Seasons beobachtet.
