In the Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams auction, the work Sea Shield sold for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,654.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Admittedly, works by Scottie Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overlapping Heads in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,960.82).
