The work Fish and Birds by Scottie Wilson was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,203.41), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Scottie Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overlapping Heads in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,960.82).

Die Arbeit Fish and Birds von Scottie Wilson wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.203,41) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Scottie Wilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overlapping Heads im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.960,82).
