The work Contemplazione (Tramonto) by Scipione was auctioned at Il Ponte in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 60,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Scipione - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 170,300.00.

Die Arbeit Contemplazione (Tramonto) von Scipione kam im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 60.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Scipione mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 170.300,00 versteigert wurde.
