Sold at the lower estimate price
The work La disputa by Scipione was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scipione achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 170,300.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit La disputa von Scipione kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scipione erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 170.300,00.
