This artwork by Scipione achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in April 2018. In the Milan Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Natura Morta Con Tubino sold for EUR 150,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Scipione; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of EUR 170,300.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Scipione erzielte im April 2018 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Natura Morta Con Tubino für EUR 150.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Scipione; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Il profeta in vista di Gerusalemme im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 170.300,00.
