This artwork by Satoshi Watanabe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work The Voice Says Don't Even Think About It sold for HKD 57,600.00 (€ 5,998.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Satoshi Watanabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,447,500.00 (€ 126,537.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Satoshi Watanabe erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit The Voice Says Don't Even Think About It für HKD 57.600,00 (€ 5.998,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Satoshi Watanabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.447.500,00 (€ 126.537,99).
