The work Beamed in and Beamed out by Satoshi Watanabe was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 463,500.00 (€ 38,158.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Satoshi Watanabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 1,447,500.00 (€ 126,537.99).

Die Arbeit Beamed in and Beamed out von Satoshi Watanabe wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 463.500,00 (€ 38.158,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Für andere Arbeiten von Satoshi Watanabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 1.447.500,00 (€ 126.537,99) versteigert wurde.
