Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Somewhere in Scotland by Satoshi Watanabe was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,232.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Satoshi Watanabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,447,500.00 (€ 126,537.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Somewhere in Scotland von Satoshi Watanabe kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.232,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Satoshi Watanabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Museum Series - Le Museé du Louvre im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.447.500,00 (€ 126.537,99).
