Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Flying Kites) by Satish Gujral was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,854.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Satish Gujral achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Despair in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 111,229.76).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Flying Kites) von Satish Gujral wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.854,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
