This price was achieved in the auction The Philosophy of Gordon Watson: Collecting Contemporary Art, Silver and Design at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Lucas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bunny Gets Snookered #8 in May this year with an auction result of USD 736,600.00 (€ 691,383.52).
