Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sandra Cinto could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Sale auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,764.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sandra Cinto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (2 Columns) in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,926.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandra Cinto konnte im November 2012 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Sale wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.764,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sandra Cinto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (2 Columns) im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.926,89).
