In September 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction LATIN AMERICA, which included this untitled work by Sandra Cinto. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,109.55), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sandra Cinto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (2 Columns), which sold at auction in November 2008 for USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,926.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im September 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion LATIN AMERICA durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandra Cinto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.109,55) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sandra Cinto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (2 Columns) beobachtet, die im November 2008 für USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.926,89) versteigert wurde.
