Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Graphicstudio Online, which included the work Open Sea by Sandra Cinto. The price achieved of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,344.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandra Cinto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (2 Columns) in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,926.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Graphicstudio Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Open Sea von Sandra Cinto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.344,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandra Cinto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (2 Columns) im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.926,89).
