Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sandra Cinto was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,369.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sandra Cinto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (2 Columns), which sold at auction in November 2008 for USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,926.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandra Cinto wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.369,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sandra Cinto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (2 Columns) beobachtet, die im November 2008 für USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.926,89) versteigert wurde.
