The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,776.84), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Bak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Flag, which sold at auction in December 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.776,84) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Bak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Flag beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07) versteigert wurde.
