This work of art by Samuel Atkins could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Drawings Including Property from the Descendants of Walter Brandt auction, the work Two Views Of Shipping Off The Isle Of Wight changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,869.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00.
