In May 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Lil' Kim (Crush on You) by Sam McKinniss. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,853.47), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sam McKinniss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Killer Pussy (Gabi), which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 47,880.00 (€ 40,411.88).

Im Mai 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lil' Kim (Crush on You) von Sam McKinniss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.853,47) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sam McKinniss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Killer Pussy (Gabi) beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für USD 47.880,00 (€ 40.411,88) versteigert wurde.
