Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bes from Five Girls) by Sam Haskins was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,163.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Haskins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orignal maquette for Cowboy Kate & Other Stories, 1963-64 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,671.31).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.163,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Haskins erzielen.
