Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Lattice, Topanga, CA, Mahogany) by Sam Falls was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,449.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Falls achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Every Season, All Weather in November last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 48,823.02).
