In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Light Blue, Unique Mono-Block Resin Chair, Built At Jiao Zhi Studio, Xiamen, China, Produced By Ye Xing You With Craftspeople Xu Fu Fa And Chen Zhong Liang. Kang Youteng, Project Manger And Liason by Sam Durant for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,508.85). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sam Durant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Can Anyone Hear Me? in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,205.38).
