In December 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work La statua sulla baia by Salvatore Fiume. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,800.00 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Salvatore Fiume have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cavalli di pietra in May this year with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit La statua sulla baia von Salvatore Fiume zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.800,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
