This artwork by Salvatore Fiume achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2017. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Racconto mediterraneo sold for EUR 7,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvatore Fiume - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cavalli di pietra, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Salvatore Fiume erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Racconto mediterraneo für EUR 7.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
