Sold at the lower estimate price
The work La veneziana by Salvatore Fiume was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. The result of EUR 8,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvatore Fiume - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cavalli di pietra, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 20,000.00.

Die Arbeit La veneziana von Salvatore Fiume kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 8.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
