Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Rose Bouquet by Sally Michel Avery. The price achieved of USD 8,287.50 (€ 6,936.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sally Michel Avery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Mug in May last year with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 82,191.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rose Bouquet von Sally Michel Avery zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 6.936,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sally Michel Avery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Mug im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 82.191,78).
