Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled Red and White by Sadie Benning. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,133.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Sadie Benning have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Untitled telephone drawing was auctioned for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,479.87).

Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Red and White von Sadie Benning zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.133,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sadie Benning konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Untitled telephone drawing für USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.479,87) versteigert.
