Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Work by Sadamasa Motonaga was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 287,500.00 (€ 31,499.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadamasa Motonaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,300,000.00 (€ 1,215,768.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Work von Sadamasa Motonaga kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 287.500,00 (€ 31.499,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadamasa Motonaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.300.000,00 (€ 1.215.768,70).
