Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Golden connection on top by Sadamasa Motonaga. The price achieved of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,506.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadamasa Motonaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,300,000.00 (€ 1,215,768.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden connection on top von Sadamasa Motonaga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.506,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadamasa Motonaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.300.000,00 (€ 1.215.768,70).
