Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 POLY held the auction Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions, which included the work Irodama by Sadamasa Motonaga. The price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,914.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadamasa Motonaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,300,000.00 (€ 1,215,768.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte POLY die Auktion Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Irodama von Sadamasa Motonaga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 19.914,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadamasa Motonaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.300.000,00 (€ 1.215.768,70).
