Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected Images by Sabine Weiss. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,610.23). Other works by Sabine Weiss have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 9,866.00 in November 2006 for the work Portugal, 1954.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Sabine Weiss zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.610,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Sabine Weiss haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.866,00 im November 2006 für die Arbeit Portugal, 1954 beobachtet.
