Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Sansuikyo by Ryozo Kato. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 12,987.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ryozo Kato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Sui Kyo in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 64,121.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sansuikyo von Ryozo Kato zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 12.987,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ryozo Kato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit San Sui Kyo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 64.121,38).
