Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included this untitled work by Ryan Sullivan. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,079.00). Admittedly, works by Ryan Sullivan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work October 28, 2010-February 8, 2011 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 135,969.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ryan Sullivan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.420,00 (€ 18.079,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ryan Sullivan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit October 28, 2010-February 8, 2011 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 135.969,43).
