Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cork Association K 'And the room was in a huge mess' by Ryan Gander was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,885.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryan Gander achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Is... (I) in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,199.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cork Association K 'And the room was in a huge mess' von Ryan Gander wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.885,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryan Gander erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Is... (I) im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.199,10).
